ATZ and me

So I got my hands on All Things Zombie - Final Fade Out these days. First of all because I like Zombies, and second because it's a game you can play alone. This may seem a little sad and weird but since I have no one around that is willing to play with me I have no choice to get my fix in any other way.
No pity needed I'm fine with that.
I'm half way through the book and it's pretty aweseome so far. Very different from what I have played in the past but in a good refreshing way. The thing I like probably the best are the many tables to roll on. I like rolling on tables. Randomness for the win!

Old School Day: Realm of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness

Since I read a lot about OldHammer during the last weeks over at Orlyggs "Realm fo Chaos 80s" and got pretty much kicked by all the old school stuff I decided it's time for another Old school day and feature some small impressions of the first RoC books "Slaves to Darkness". It includes the Chaos Gods Khorne and Slaanesh and was a fantastic random way to generate your Chaos Champion and his warband. I love every detail about the book and the initial thoughts behind the loooong tables you have to roll. Unfortunately this was way before my time in gaming so I never played with these rules. But as I also love the old models I have several of those too and decided to finally paint some of those up. But that will be seen in another thread. For now have some fun with sweet nostalgia rules, artwork and paintjobs. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I'm pretty productive these days. Finally finished Mike who has been laying around on my painting desk since ages. Guess he's pretty lucky now even if he doesn't show it. On with some pics:

Paper scenery

I had the question where those paper cars are from so I'm gonna give you some links today from where I found some pretty cool stuff.

First there's a Blog named Papermau (link). Here you can find new paper stuff daily. Most isn't useful for tabletop but there are few good things from time to time. It's worth a look.

The other big site is Ninjatoes papercraft weblog (link). Similar to the blog above but with much more useful stuff like cars, busses etc etc. It has even a linkpage where you can select categories you want to search (link)
The cars I built are from a webpage from russia called Vladsity (link). I printed them in 80% size and that seems to fit perferct for 28mm models.

Just trying to live - Just trying to survive!

It's time for another update. If been pretty busy for my standards and finished my eight surviver models. So without further yaddayadda here they are

First the groupshot and then all of the guys in spotlight.

2013 begins...

...with some civilian like Models that I wanted in my collection for special purposes like roleplaying and of course ATZ and Strange Aeons (if I ever find somebody to play with).
These are their Bases, which are the only parts that are already finished.

Silent Night

Before 2012 ends I have a small update. Managed to get all Bases redone and took some pics. Pics are bit dark but that's mainly because its winter.
