Finally: Zombies!

Remember my post back in 2011? (Link) Funny thing with keeping projects on track. But now after about one and a half year of collecting dust the first ten Zombies got a repaint to match my survivors and to look less fantasy.

I think they don't look too bad for GW oversized scale and until I get my hands on the Wargames Factory Zombies they'll do their job. I tried to do some little scenic conversions like the construction worker, the reporter, the walkind body bag and of course there had to be a crawling one. I especially like the naked Zombie girl, reminds me a little of "Dawn of the Dead". I don't remember where the model is from, I just remember that it was a little diorama box with several women as slaves on a market. Maybe I find the rest of them again so I can put some more variation in the ranks of the unliving.
I'm not that satisfied with the bases though as they seem a little blank and boring, maybe I scatter some trash or street markings on some of them to break things up a little.
Oh and I already sorted out the next ten Zombies and sticked them onto the painting bases. Any suggestions on themed Zombies? I definetely want to make a guy with a "The End has come!" or "God's wrath!" shield. I'm open for all suggestions.

Cheers

  1. Z's look good. For themed zombies have a look at the Cold War minis, each set of five has a theme to them.

    1. They indeed have pretty cool ones. I will surely borrow some of their designs and make some out of those GW Z's. Thanks dude!
