Old School December: Nurgle Champions
This time we got some Nurgle Champions. Nurgle is still my favourite Chaos God, dunno why exactly. Maybe because of the endless disgusting possibilities you have model wise. Painted up three of them. Kind of the three stooges of Nurgle.

Old School December: RoC - The Lost and the Damned
To start the Old School December we begin with the second of the Realm of Chaos books. The Lost and the Damned contains the remaining two Chaos Gods Nurgle an Tzeentch. Just like the first book it's full of awesome models, artwork, rules and background. Enjoy.

Old School December
Since I did a lot of old school stuff recently I decided to dedicate this December to all old school stuff. I got hooked up with old scholl minis some time back and am still in search for more of them via ebay. In Germany you don't find many of them often and so I decided to add a new page here called "Trade" where you can find lists of models I already own (which are not that much) so you see which ones I'm still slooking for. I have few old models twice for trade and will also add more stuff I offer to trade from time to time. Mostly it will be newer models but I also have some old models that I have no use for). I own a lot of Space Marines and Imperial Guard that I want to get rid off.
See you for some old school goodness.
Cheers

I'm ready for Apocalypse Z
It happened. I took time to do some modeling/painting again. And it felt good.
Finished my last two Zombie Game Mini Mes so now I have myself in various options of weaponry. Also I did some preperations for December, because something big is coming. Well "big" for my standards but I won't spoil anything yet. Gaming wise we did another round of Call of Cthulhu and it still doesn't get boring. I even started writing my own adventure for the group but I'm still in the eraly stage writing the main plot and drawing maps. Enough chitchat, here's the pic.

Gone till November
Hope you're all fine? I'm pretty good, thanks. Yeah I've been gone for a while now. Basically because of summer. I didn't do much tabletop related in the past months. I've been for holiday trip in Egypt, and of course during the time where all those riots took place. Gladly everything worked out fine during our stay. I've also been to Budapest for three days with my dudes. Dude weekend you know. It was pretty cool, they have cheap beer. Rest of the time I spent playing Skyrim and Diablo III with my girl. My only Geek drug during the last three months was my Call of Cthulhu group. Played 5 games during that time and advanced pretty much in our campaign. Can't write down all what we discovered now but I have to say may character Otto Hahn is a pretty damn awesome guy. Fisherman, sailor, rascal, rakish, drinker, ladies man, sharpshooter (headshot a seal, yeah poor seal but it was to stop the elder ones from craving the souls of all mortals), social genious and master detective (he was the one that found the dead body that the whole police of Hamburg was looking for) We finished the first adventure with finding one of the fishmen on Borkum. It was kind of similar to the Innsmouth story from HPL. Now we're looking for a small boy that was kidnapped by strangers. His father, a big industrian moved with his family from New York to Hamburg and we just found out that there were also other kidnappings around... but fear not humanity, Otto comes to the rescue! With his fishermans coat, a captains hat and a bucket full of bad cursing.
On a completely other note me and my girl got into X-Wing some weeks ago and pretty much enjoy the game... if we find time during our Diablo sessions. And now that I got Assassins Creed IV it could get even worse. I'm playing Imperials and she supports the Rebel scum. Actually she first wanted to play princess Leia but since there is no Leia in the game until now she said she will be playing Luke as consolation prize.
We also started playing Carnage again last week and I feel the urge to do something with little figures again so maybe I get to paint or assemble some more models in the near future. I'm close to the "I HAVE TO!!!" moment where all the pent-up modeling bursts out in a big bash up session. But probably it will get killed by Cpt. Kenway... we'll see.
Cheers
Btw I realized the repost post of my Pyramind Head already counts nearly 6k hits. WTF?!

1000 Hits Post repost
It finally happened! One of my posts reached 1000 hits. Guess who's popular? The good old Pyramid Head did his duty well and attracted a lot of people. Thanks to all of you out there for all the hits.

CARNAGE - Run for your lives
Last game we went into the tunnels and so we continued yesterday with the tunnel game. It was basically a "run away" scenario because we got followed by a whole lot of Zombies. Pretty fast Zombies (World War Z anyone?)
First I have to say that I forgot to take some pics during the first two rounds so I can only show you the second half of the game. But it's not that big of a deal as the main things happened in the second half.

That is not dead which can eternal lie
Some time ago I signed on a German page called "Spielerzentrale" (means something like Gamer Headquarter). It's a page where you fill out a profile with the games you play and for what game you are looking for other gamers in your area. With the help of this page I finally found a Call of Cthulhu gaming group around here! I already jumped in an already adventure they were playing and we all had much fun.
It's a bunch of four really fun guys that have a good sense of humor and gaming related they're more focussed on rolepay than on ruleplay what makes it easy and flowing to play. We got to know each other and I fit pretty good in the group, well at least I believe that because they invited me for further games and so we started a campaign last week that is called "On the Islands".

CARNAGE! - Return of the Killing
So I had my first game this year. Yes I didn't play tabletop more than half a year. Had two games of Call of Cthulhu but that's it (more about Cthulhu in a later post probably. Just so much: It's fecking awesome).
It was a pretty good game and we also had some guests. First of all a guy I met via an online community for gamers joined the game for testing and pretty much liked it. But the awesome part of yesterdays game was that not only my girlfriend but also my pals girlfriend joined us. They weren't as bored as I expected, they even enjoyed moving the little puppets around and killing anything that crossed their ways. Guess we have a gaming group now. With girls. And benefits.
Also managed to take a snapshot during the game. It's not the best quality but I captures the atmosphere. Half of our group died during the game but with fun and style.
In August the second Carnage book will be released. I will be giving you some sneak peeks as I already have one. It features the last armies (Dragons, Vampires and the Reich) and comes with skirmish roleplay style murdersquad rules. Also I will give you some background stuff from Carnage to maybe hook you up with the game. ; )
So that's it for today. Maybe I get some more posts this month but I won't bet on it. So long.
Cheers

Got the next ten Zombies done. Basically they look the same as the first ten GW Zombies I already did with some added stuff to make some of them kind of special. First the normals.

Finally: Zombies!
Remember my post back in 2011? (Link) Funny thing with keeping projects on track. But now after about one and a half year of collecting dust the first ten Zombies got a repaint to match my survivors and to look less fantasy.

ATZ and me
So I got my hands on All Things Zombie - Final Fade Out these days. First of all because I like Zombies, and second because it's a game you can play alone. This may seem a little sad and weird but since I have no one around that is willing to play with me I have no choice to get my fix in any other way.
No pity needed I'm fine with that.
I'm half way through the book and it's pretty aweseome so far. Very different from what I have played in the past but in a good refreshing way. The thing I like probably the best are the many tables to roll on. I like rolling on tables. Randomness for the win!

Old School Day: Realm of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness
Since I read a lot about OldHammer during the last weeks over at Orlyggs "Realm fo Chaos 80s" and got pretty much kicked by all the old school stuff I decided it's time for another Old school day and feature some small impressions of the first RoC books "Slaves to Darkness". It includes the Chaos Gods Khorne and Slaanesh and was a fantastic random way to generate your Chaos Champion and his warband. I love every detail about the book and the initial thoughts behind the loooong tables you have to roll. Unfortunately this was way before my time in gaming so I never played with these rules. But as I also love the old models I have several of those too and decided to finally paint some of those up. But that will be seen in another thread. For now have some fun with sweet nostalgia rules, artwork and paintjobs. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Paper scenery
I had the question where those paper cars are from so I'm gonna give you some links today from where I found some pretty cool stuff.
First there's a Blog named Papermau (link). Here you can find new paper stuff daily. Most isn't useful for tabletop but there are few good things from time to time. It's worth a look.
The other big site is Ninjatoes papercraft weblog (link). Similar to the blog above but with much more useful stuff like cars, busses etc etc. It has even a linkpage where you can select categories you want to search (link)
The cars I built are from a webpage from russia called Vladsity (link). I printed them in 80% size and that seems to fit perferct for 28mm models.
If you have some more links regarding that topic please share them with me in the coments below.
Cheers
